Believe this Branigan is related to the John Branigan, b. abt 1830, in Pa, living in Stewart Co., TN for the 1880 Census as follows: John Branigan, age 50, farmer, b. PA, both parents b. Ireland Elizabeth Branigan, age 30, wife, b. VA, both parents b. VA Ellen, age 11, b. Ohio, Julia, age 6, b. TN Mathew, age 4, b. TN Nancy, age 2, b. TN William, age 3 months, born Jan 1880 James Matthew Brannigan (the above 4 year old) died in 1914. The newspaper mentioned his sisters Helen Brannigan of Clarksville, TN, and Julia Wallace & Annie Monahan of Louisville, Ky. [Julia Brannigan married George L. Wallace.] There was a Margaret Brannigan who married Robert Sheridan [Sheriden[ in Stewart Co., TN in 1882. It doesn't appear that your Felix is connected to my family, but the Ohio and Felix-name could make them cousins. Please email me if you are interested in more details, & good luck, Paula
