    1. Daniel Brannigan from Castlewellan, Co. Down
    2. I am looking for any information on Brannigans from Castlewellan. My Grandfather Daniel Brannigan came to America in 1912 from Downpatrick and eventually lived in Missoula, Montana. He had a Brother John Brannigan that lived in Rockford IL. and a sister that may have moved to Canada and married a man by the name of Brennan. I am looking for the name of a cemetery or Parish in Castlewellan where Brannigan relatives may be buried. They were Catholic.

    3. Hello fellow researchers and descendants. I'm new to the group. My interest is in the Brannigan family in my direct line. I would like to correspond with anyone who shares interest in this line. Here's my line: Peter (possibly Eli) Brannigan came from Ireland circa 1830 with 2 teen-aged sons. He stopped off in Massena, NY where he worked and stayed a few years. He married ? Richards, who died in childbirth. The son, Uriah Darius (called "UD") was born 19 April, 1833 and was brought up by his maternal grandparents in Massena. He was known as U.D. Richards, and school records show his parents (actually grandparents) as Joseph and Sally Richards. Peter Brannigan traveled to Manitowoc, WI with his 2 teen-aged sons, soon after UD was born. UD traveled to see them in his own teen years, sometime in the 1850s. This is all I know of Peter & his first 2 sons. I have searched many sources of passenger lists without finding them. Does anyone know more about where he came from in Ireland or his Wisconsin progeny?
