My 2nd great grandmother was Ann Branigan who married Michael Morgan in 1849 in the Derrynoose RC. My great grandmother Mary Catherine Morgan immigrated to Dover, New Hampshire between 1883-1885. She had at least two sister also move to Dover, NH from the Keady area. I believe I have also found two brothers as they have the same parents listed, but unsure where they are from in Ireland. I would love to compare information to see if we have a connection. Dover seems to be a popular place for Keady immigrants. -Mike Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. She was married to John Brannagan. Rosella May Brannagan was born 9/14/96 and died 2/5/78. She is buried at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Tampa, FL. At the time of her death she was survived by brother, Newt Coughenour of Tampa and sister Mrs. Mildred Picciano of Tampa. Rosella had 2 sons, John E. and James Brannagan and 8 daughters, Mrs. Julia Davis, Mrs. Ann Ritchey, Mrs. Maryellen Keyser, Mrs. Bernadette Blank, Mrs. Josephine Roberts (my mother who is now deceased), Mrs. Ada Turner, Mrs. Geraldine Barton and Mrs. Mildred Bolmeyer. I don't know much about her side of the family, other than her brother, Newton Coughenour was born 12/30/12 and died 12/1/81. Would be interested in any information you may find. I've heard family rumors that her father was originally married to a full blooded Cherokee Indian (who died young). Can't find any info on that. He was married to Mary Cassidy (presumed to have died in Ireland before he immigrated). In Glasgow, Patrick lived with his daughter Ann Jane (known as Jane) who married Peter McCabe in 1891. Jane;s only surviving child Patrick immigrated to Australia in 1930. Jane stayed in Glasgow where she died in 1942. I think there may have been other children of Patrick Brannigan who immigrated to Glasgow as Jane's death was reported by her niece Jane Campbell. I think she is from the Brannigan side of the family but don't know anything about her. All help appreciated. Sue Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
