Anne, Did the site where you found this cite the author or publication? Benjamin Bradshaw (father of Richard) may have been the son of John Bradshaw of Prince Edward County. In a deed dated 2/26/1759, John Bradshaw of Amelia County, Va purchased 133 acres from Peter Brown. In his will, 3/28/1787, John Bradshaw divided his estate among his children William, John, Benjamin, Thomas, Clemmons, Jeremiah, Richard, Elizabeth, Martha, Mary & Salley.
