Maybe not even related! I used to puzzle over William Bradshaw having land in Arkansas way earlier than I thought he should have been there. Turns out there were two unrelated William Bradshaws in White County Arkansas at the same time. By the way, it seems like all the Bradshaws on this list are from Virginia. Do we have any from my branch? Mine go back to David BRADSHAW (1792 TN-1848 Weakley Co. TN); m. Theresa CARSON, possibly a daughter of Henry CARSON (B. 1754 Mecklenburg Co. NC?). These Bradshaws may have been from Mecklenburg County also. David is said to have served in the War of 1812 under Andrew Jackson at the Battle of New Orleans. I have not gotten around to verifying this yet. The William mentioned above is William Henry BRADSHAW (1818 TN-1891? White Co.? AR). He married (1)Mary WRIGHT 1839, and (2) Elizabeth ADAMS bet 1845/1857 who m1 ? PRESCOTT. William's brothers also came with him from Tennessee. My information is from "My Story" by De Emmett Bradshaw.
