    3. It has come to my attention that a BRADSHAW list subscriber does not want discussion replies directed back to the BRADSHAW DISCUSSION LIST. Following is the quoted complaint: "Once you have made contact could you write person to person e mails and save the thousands of the rest of us Bradshaws from all these emails." I'm well aware of the response returned to the BRADSHAW list which generated this complaint and it involved a continued discussion regarding an ancestor from a previous query. May I make it perfectly clear that the continued discussion of an ancestor based on a previous query should be directed to the BRADSHAW list since someone else on the list may also be interested in the same family line. Also, the continued discussion of an ancestor or family line may provide a future researcher reviewing the archived messages with a lead needed to link to an ancestor, thus breaking through their "brickwall". I urge subscribers to use their delete on queries and responses thereto which do not pertain to your ancestors. An option to reduce the volume of individual BRADSHAW list messages is to subscribe to the digested mode. The procedure to change from the single message mode (BRADSHAW-L) to the digested message mode (BRADSHAW-D) is as follows: First, unsubscribe from BRADSHAW-L as follows: Create a new email message addressed to: [email protected] In the Subject: line, enter only the following word: UNSUBSCRIBE On the first line of text, enter only the following word: UNSUBSCRIBE ================================================= Then, subscribe to BRADSHAW-D as follows: Create a new email message addressed to: [email protected] In the Subject: line, enter only the following word: SUBSCRIBE On the first line of text, enter only the following word: SUBSCRIBE -------------------- Queries and responses are sent still sent to: [email protected] Happy Huntin' to All, Jim Young List Moderator
