    3. Not sure if this is helpful, but Tryon Co. was formed 1769 from Mecklenburg. Tryon and Lincoln is where many of the BRADSHAWs can be found in later years, but also Burke Co. When searching for people in these areas, it is generally good to search all the surrounding counties (bummer) even if said ancestor never resided there. Records may still be recorded there or make mention of him there. BTW, there were lots of DUNNs later (mid 1800s) in Montgomery Co., NC which is generally close to the area these counties covered back then.
