May have finally found something. In going back through my "written" notes I found a reference to ELIZABETH BRADSHAW as HOH in the 1790 NC census, only other members of the family was 1 female slave. Didn't have the county source with the note but it would have been either Lincoln or Burke County. Does any one have any information on this Elizabeth? "I am hoping it is Elizabeth Thompson Bradshaw and that I should start looking for a divorce record there." O.K. so I am grasping at straws at this point but that's the way it goes. Any help appreciated.
