    3. Continued from the seven children of John Franklin Bradshaw and Mary Rebecca Miller Bradshaw, from Lincoln County Hertiage page 28 & 29. The First Four Generations of The Bradshaws of Lincoln County, North Carolina. There was only one daughter in the family of John Franklin and Mary Miller Bradshaw, Ann Elizabeth, who never married. At the death of her parents, the farm was divided among the boys and she was given the home place where her and her brother's grew up. Franklin lived with Ann until his death in 1906. Upon the death of Franklin she invited Charles Robert Bradshaw , son of Bartlett and Martha, his wife Minnie Wentz and their families to live with her. Charles added two rooms and a porch not long after they moved in. The family was very close and visited often. Ann and Adolphus's often walked to the Methodist Church in Iron Station. William Robert and the Bartlett Ship's families traveled by, wagon, buggy, and later surrey, to attend church at Mount Zion Baptist Church. The family would often attend revivals at these churchs. The children of Adolphus, Charles and Bartlett attended a one room school house, The Stroup School and later attended Iron Station School.
