Hi Bob, You have lots of good information to start your records search with. Contact your birth and death states for copies of the original records. Usually, birth and death records are kept at the vital statistics division for the state. You might want to try the county level first though. They will be glad to send them to you. The best way to do that is to send them a letter with your request and make sure you include a stamped, self addressed envelope. They will contact you and tell you if they have the record and if they do, they will tell you the cost. Send them your check and they will send you copies of the original records.
