Her father was Charles William Cobb, b.1887,son of Joseph Richard Cobb b.1858, son of Mastin Harris Cobb b. 1826, son of Joseph K Cobb b. 1799. I am looking for Joseph K Cobb's parents. I know that he was born in Tennessee, & his mother died when he was 4 yrs old. But family story says we are from the Joseph Cobb that came to Va in 1613. But have no proof & don't even know if that is true. So could even be from a different Cobb line entirely & just linked it together because he was named Joseph.
