This Reunion has been held annually since 1906 (except for the war years) for the descendants of HANCOCK, John, Born 18 Jun 1766 in Albermarle Co.?, VA, Died ??? 1827? in Franklin Co.?, KY at age 60; left VA and moved to KY via MD, WV, OH, and IN, settling in KY ca. 1805 with his wife and family. SP FARRAR, Frances (Fanny), Born ??? 1771 in Goochland Co?, VA?, Married 13 Dec 1791 in Virginia for 35 years, Died ??? 1837? in Anderson Co.?, KY at age 66 Allied families include: ASHBY BRADSHAW BRANSON CARLISLE COLEMAN CORUM DUNVILLE FLEMING FLOYD GILPIN HALL HOBGOOD JACKSON JENKINS JETT LAYTON LISENBY LUCK MELTON MOORE NANCE OGLESBY PRICE RAILSBACK RAMSEY ROLAND RYAN SELLERS THOMASSON TIMMONS TOMBLISON TOOMBS and many more... The Reunion will be held this year at the fire station in beautiful downtown Onton, Kentucky, and this year they will have even said that they will move the trucks out so we can use the whole building (it was a bit tight in the office last year, but this will make a whole lot more room and the air conditioning was certainly highly appreciated!). It will start at 12:00 noon, and bring a dish to share for the potluck picnic (some awfully good cooks around there...). There will be tours of the Old Onton Cemetery, New Onton Cemetery, Sassafras Grove Cemetery, and Old Hancock Cemetery, as well as good conversation, fellowship, and meet all the relatives!!
