William Henry Bradshaw was born in 1860. His family homesteaded in Douglas County, Missouri from 1860 to 1870. They came there from Washington County, Arkansas, after the Bradshaw and Vinson homes were burned by gangs or "bushwhackers." On the death of his father, William Henry's mother, Susannah Vinson Bradshaw, had a hard time trying to raise the children so she had to :"let them out." They were taken in by other households. William Henry's siblings were: James, Sarah, Daniel, Mary, Ann, and James. William married first Emmavine Privett and then Sally Andrews. Children were John, George, Alpha Omega, and Delmer Lowel (b. 1908). On William Henry's death certificate his parents are listed as Gideon Bradshaw and Susannah Vinson of Adair County, Kentucky. (It is not sure that Gideon is correct, possibly Isaiah, but Susannah Vinson should be.) Father of Susannah Vinson was Daniel Vinson.
