Emma Louise married Elmore Bradshaw of Bradford County in 1877. All records indicate that she did not travel with her parents Pardon and Julianna to Kansas in 1878/1879, but remained in Pike Township and raised a family of nine children. The 1920 census records show that they resided in Pike Township on Bradshaw Road. Their second eldest daughter Ruth M. is shown as being a public shcool teacher at 26 years of age and not married. She is living with Elmer and Emma. Next door is presumably daughter Grace, who is married to Lin D. Stevens with three children, Esther, Theodore, and Clarissa. Civil war pension records submitted by Julianna, show that Julianna resided with the Bradshaws in Stevensville and died there soon after 1902. Further research is need on this family.
