Re: Jan 16 message of above Subject, Samuel and Dorcas Prigmore Bradshaws son Joseph and his wife Polly Logan Caldwell did have a Green Washington Bradshaw, Sr., born 1832 in Pelham Valley, Grundy Co. TN. He and his wife Mary Rebecca Camper Bradshaw are my grt-grt grandparents. In 1880 census of Upshur Co, TX (east TX) they had children: Malinda, 20, Frances M., 16, Sarah E., 14, Joseph, 12, Rebecca H., 10, Martha L., 8, another Green W., 6, Samuel M. 2. They moved to Indian Territory between 1880 & 1890 and he died in Loco, OK 11/16 1921. He and his first wife Emaline McNorten had two daughters. He married Mary Rebecca Camper after her death and had the remainder of his children. Children after the above census info would be Thomas, Robert, John, James & Virginia. This is part of the information graciously shared with me several years ago by J. B. Wyatt, a grandson of Green Washington Bradshaw. Two things I am especially interested in and have thus far had no luck are the statements that 1) we are distantly related to General Robert E. Lee and 2) that we have Indian blood.
