Hi BJ, I have been following this trail too. I cannot come up with one good reason to believe that JOHN BRADSHAW was married to ELIZABETH PLEASANTS so far. As a matter of fact, since I've really started to look into this, I have found more evidence that they could NOT have been married than that they could. This may be one of the questions that we'll never know the answer to, but I can't find any evidence that JOHN was married to Elizabeth. I can't even find any evidence that JOHN was married to "AN" Elizabeth. From all of the evidence I have found it looks more like an ELIZABETH BRADSHAW was a close friend of the PLEASANT family, but I'm still looking. I hope you won't quit either!! I posted some listings for wills last week and I'm going to get copies of some of them. When I do I'll post to the list. I am in the process of transcribing a copy of the will of JOHN BRADSHAW of Isle of Wight Co., Va. that I received from Burton and when I get it pretty well figured out I'll post it to the list also.
