Just found out that this Jacob Hoover was married to Ella Nora Odom in the Seymour area, Webster Co, MO, and then they moved to Mansfield, Wright Co, MO to raise their family. Ella Nora outlived Jacob, and they were still man and wife, living together, at the time of Jacob's deat. So Villa N? was Ella Nora....... And now, looking at the census, I can see how the tail of the J in Jacob reached downward and blended........ Ah, you know <wry grins>. But Jennie Bradshaw is still listed as "mother-in-law". And she is definitely not from Jacob's side of the family. I suspect that a Jennie unknown married an unknown Odom, was then widowed, and married a Bradshaw. But I have no further clues yet.
