    1. Re: [BRADSHAW] John and Francis Bradshaw
    2. Joel and Mary Rebecca (Montgomery) Bradshaw was my gr,gr,gr,gr grandparents. She died July 5, 1842, and is buried at the Jones Cemetery, near White Hall (Greene Co.) IL. There is no tombstone for her, but the Greene Co. Historical and Genealogical Society has the information for her grave site, but their records show that she was 87y. 9m. 26d at time of death. File # 118, Estate of Robert Montgomery, 1847 Amite Co. Mississippi shows the relationship of Mary to her brother. I also have the following which was given to me by an elderly cousin who had done most of the research regarding this family: Dated 13 Dec, 1845 "State of Tennessee, County of White: This day, Martha Bradshaw personally appeared before ? Justice of the Peace in White County and under oath ??? that Mary Bradshaw was the reputed sister of Robert Montgomery, dec'd of Amite Co. State of Mississippi and Hamilton, James, William and also sister to Margie, Nancy and Abigail Montgomery. And further certified that Mary Bradshaw departed this life at Charles Bradshaw's in Greene County, Illinois; leaving six heirs: Wm. Bradshaw, John Bradshaw, Charles Bradshaw, Joel Bradshaw, Nancy Houston, Margaret Plumley. She further certifies that Wm Bradshaw departed this life in Texas on 4th day of August, 1840 leaving 6 heirs. Mary Morgan, Jane Ishom, Louise Gooch, Wm Montgomery, Mark, and Helen, a minor, these which are the legal heirs of Wm. Bradshaw, deceased" Hope this helps.
