Looking for anyone that knows of the family of William Bradshaw; two sons, William Japser Bradshaw and John Oliver Bradshaw (my great-grandfather) daughters, Mary and Sarah. Shows to be widowed in 1880 in Williams, Wayne county, MO. Any information on this family is appreciated. This family lived in Tishomingo, Mississippi on Indian Land in 1830. After the Battle of Dancing Rabbit Creek they moved back to Tennessee. They migrated to Arkansas, and on to Texas. Elisha and Nancy moved to Oklahoma which was Indian Territory. William, Margaret, Rebecca and George moved to Bastrop County, Texas. Samuel Bradshaw born abt. 1779 - Nancy Rhoades William M. Hello Bill Altstatt, My GGG Grandfather was Samuel Bradshaw who married Nancy Sally Rhodes. I am decendening from Elisha Jefferson Bradshaw's brother, William Bradshaw. I have been unable to find any more information on Samuel but have a load of stuff on Nancy Sally Rhodes ie Decendant of the Choctaw Indians Chiefs. Also there are several Bradshaws buried at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Duncan, Missouri and I have visited the cemetery as some of my other ancestors are buried there. Bradshaw, b abt. 1840-1850 in Louisville, Kentucky. He married Susan Hume and they had 7 children. Ward Hume, Pearl, Bertha & Sarah. Don't know names of others (1 daughter, 2 sons). At least some of their children were born in Nebraska. Sarah married Perry Hancock Foyle & lived in Colorado. She died in 1911 at age 29. Could this family be any relation to your Bradshaws?
