Hello Pat, Don't quote me chapter and verse because much of what I have was done by an older relative and he didn't document very well. The "oldest" Bradley I have is Robert born 21 Jan 1720 Christs Church, Middlesex, VA. Married to Anne Williams, died around 1785, there was a will written in 1782 and recorded in 1786. There is a little note that his father might have been John and his grandfather, another Robert. Most of the children born in Spottsylvania, some in Orange: Some went to KY, Scott and Christian Counties. The list Ihave includes: Beverly Bradley (my ancestor - married to Nancy Waggoner), George, Robert, John, Benjamin, Thomas, Frances, Mary, Margaret, Elizabeth and Anne. These children born between 1764 and about 1775. A John but no James. The children of Beverly Bradley and Nancy Waggoner include: Rich and Mary (Ratliff) Bradley (my ancestors), George, Joel, Catherine, James, Elizabeth, Thomas, Martha and Ann, all born in Scott and Barran Counties, KY Most stayed in KY, my ancestor and another ended up in MO. After that the history turns to Randolph County MO....and is probably too recent..... Just sending this in case you see something interesting....it doesn't look like mine ever gave their place of residence as NC. Just flinging the names into cyberspace....
