    1. Social Security Death Index
    2. The best place to find information on people who may have died since 1937 is at this web site - The Social Security Death Index- provided free by Ancestry http://www.ancestry.com/ssdi/advanced.htm Fill in search form . EXAMPLE: Michael Bradley PA (you don't need Social Security number) . This is what I found. MICHAEL BRADLEY Born 27 Nov 1883, Died Mar 1972 , Zip code and City last Benefit check was mailed to: 19007 (Bristol, PA) , Social Security Number 171-09-0186, Applied for his SS card in Pennsylvania Before 1951 Then Go to http://www.mtjeff.com/~bodenst/ssdi.html for instructions on how to order more information from Social Security Administration. Of course you are only going to find relatives who have died because Social Security numbers are private until then. For living people try phone directory at http://www3.switchboard.com/bin/cgiqa.dll This works best for people with unusual names who live in small towns! ~Paula Larkin~ >>Subj: Re: subscribe Date: 97-11-10 16:40:37 EST From: mtowle@earthlink.net To: BRADLEY-ROOTS-L@rootsweb.com I am looking for decendants of William and Margaret(Crosson or Crosby) Bradley - arrived NY from Donegal area May 1883.
