For anyone you hasn't tried it, this is one of the best resources on Rootsweb. When you go to the Rootsweb Archives (messages posted to Rootsweb lists) http://searches.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/listsearch.pl you will need to type Bradley on first screen. You have to spell it Bradley even if you are looking for Bradlee etc. posts..you don't need the "-L@rootsweb.com." On the second screen you can search for whatever you wish Example: Cornelius It may be better to search by county or state, If you are looking for a common name like John or Robert you will need to be more specific Ex: John and (Illinois or IL) If there are too many "returns" you may want to try the county name Ex: Jackson and (County or Co) also try searching for any maiden names you have connected to your Bradleys, or any thing else unique, for instance a middle name, if his name is John Spencer Bradley. Example: Spencer Ex: Indian You will need to search each years messages . If you want to refine your searching go to http://www.shelby.net/shelby/jr/robertsn/rwsearch.htm for suggestions. Other surname lists are at: http://www.rootsweb.com/~maillist/surnames/index.html Be sure and write down the main spelling variation of a name because to reach that groups archives you are going to have to spell it exactly as the group is filed here. ... Have fun searchin.....~Paula~
