I'm seeking information about the Bradleys of Castlecomer, County Kilkenny, Ireland. Information is sketchy, but I do know the following. 1. James Bradley was born in Castlecomer in December, 1880. He moved to Canada where he mined coal and raised a family, including me. 2. Robert Bradley (a collier) and Ann Fluellin (Fluellen?) were his parents. They were married in Castlecomer, May 5, 1866. 3. John Bradley, also a collier, was Robert's father. 4. The Bradleys worked in the Castlecomer coal mines operated by the Wandesforde estate. 5. These Bradleys may have come to Castlecomer in the 1700s from Wandesforde coal mines operated in England, likely near Kirklington, Yorkshire. Naturally, I'm interested in learning any details available about the Bradleys. In particular, I'd like to know about the ancestors of John Bradley and about the possible connection to the Bradleys of Yorkshire.
