    2. Bill Madden
    3. I am interested in finding out more about my great-grandmother, Emma Baldwin, family. Below is all that I have been able to piece together. Some of it is contradictory because I have found the same names of cities (e.g. Kansas City KA or MO and counties (e.g. Pleasant Hill OH or MO or IO ) in differnet States. In fact, I understand that some of the orginal counties in selected States do not exist any longer. BALDWIN Emma; Pleasant Hill, OH>MO, USA/KS,USA>WA,USA; 1854-1919 My great, great-grandmother Emma Baldwin was born on February 21, 1854 in Pheasant Hill, Ohio (Clermont and Hamilton County) or in Pleasant Hill, Iowa (Polk County) or in Missouri on February 15, 1858. {Note: Available information about Emma is contradictory}. Emma’s mother first name was Maryann, but her maiden name is unknown. Her father was Frank Baldwin. He was possibly born in Missouri or Ohio. Emma married Carroll Bradley in the 1870’s. Carroll was from Ireland or Scotland. Emma gave birth to Martha a.k.a. Mattie on March 21, 1873 and Carrie in sometime in the 1876 in Missouri. Emma moved from Missouri to Seattle, Washington (King County) between 1890-1900. She moved there with her two daughters: Martha (Bradley) Taylor, Carrie Bradley, and her son-in-law, James “Valentine” Taylor. She died in Seattle (King County), Washington on June 28, 1919. Other names associated with BALDWIN are: TAYLOR, BRADLEY, MADDEN.
