Joseph John Bradley was born in North Carolina January 20, 1772 and came to Robertson Co., TN. to defend the frontier. He married twice. His first wife was Rebecca ? and they had these children. Benjamin W. Bradley b 1807 : whose son was Bellfield Bradley: whose daughter was Leota, my grandmother. John Joseph Bradley b September 22, 1809 Nancy Bradley b 1800 Martha L. Bradley b 1812 Panthia B. Bradley Sarah Bradley Elizabeth Bradley Rebecca Bradley Polly Bradley Sally Bradley Joseph John's second marriage was to Nancy Cheatham. She had been married several times. Her father was William Littleberry. Their children were: Virginia Ann C. Bradley b1835 William Littleberry Bradley b 1837 In November 1848, Nancy & her 2 children moved to Franklin Co., Ala. to be near her father, "a man of wealth."
