Hi Again: Do you have a copy of John Bradley's will which was probated 20 Oct 1778? If not I can send you an abstracted copy. Also I checked on genserve and a couple of trees have this John Bradley born 10 Sept 1739 and migrating with his parents Thomas Bradley b. 1705 and mother Ann to Brunswick CO VA and later to Granville CO VA . On April 8 1761 John Bradley bought 270 acres of land in Granville CO NC . On 24 June 1772 He sold 300 acres of land in what had by then become Bute CO NC. About 1773 john Bradley migrated to Tyrone CO NC.During the next 5 years he purchased 100 acres in Rutheford and 400acres in Burke CO . It is reported that he died of injuries he received when he fell inside Fort Hampton during an eclipse of the sun on 23 june 1778. His will is dated that day. Also One of the genserve Trees shows John's Grandfather was also named Thomas Bradley born in 1655 and married his wife Elizibeth who was born in 1680. That would have made him 50 when his son Thomas was born so I don't know how accurate these trees are. I have that generally found the genserve trees are a lot more accurate than the FTW or LDS trees are. LDS particularly has a lot of errors. I have found my John Bradley son of Robert tied to 3 different lines that I could prove that were not correct. Hope this is of interest to you. I only collected information on the John Bradley that Married Sarah Morgan in 1757 and Mary Ledbetter in 1759 to prove that he was not the John Bradley that married Mary Rhodes and Rebecca Jameson. as some researchers had indicated. Apparently you picked up the place and date of birth for your John Bradley from one of those Trees. >
