    1. [BRADLEY] John Bradley m Rose-Ann Ireland mid 1800s
    2. June Monteith
    3. Hello, This is my first posting to the list. My great grandmother, Jane Bradley, was born in Ireland to John Bradley, farm labourer and Rose-Ann, nee Birnie, probably in 1864. She married Henry Devlin before 1883, and they went to Glasgow, Scotland. I am afraid I don't know where in Ireland John and Rose-Ann lived. Henry Devlin was supposed to be from Co Derry, but I vaguely remember a tale that he met his wife in Dublin. Any more info or advice would be very gratefully received. June

    3. A Warm Santa Barbara Hello to All of You! I'm very new to genealogy and just discovered your wonderful BRADLEY list. What a terrific resource! I am hoping to connect with someone who might have information on my maternal g-grandfather, Joseph Harrison BRADLEY. He was born in Kingston, Ontario, Canada probably between 1850-1865. He married Alice Mary COOPER (b. 1865 in Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada) in San Francisco, California on July 04, 1888. They had five children, all born in Portland, Oregon. They were Mary, Elsie, Stella (b. 1895), Dorothy, and Chester BRADLEY. I would be overjoyed to find anything on this line, as I have so little information to start with in my quest to research this BRADLEY line. Thank you, in advance, for any assistance or advice! *******xoxoxox*******xoxoxox*******xoxoxox******* Barbara Bartolome barts@west.net xoxoxox*******xoxoxox*******xoxoxox*******xoxoxox

    1. [BRADLEY-L] Milbery Bradley in Wake Co, North Carolina about 1820
    2. I am looking for information of Milbery Bradley. This is what I know about her. She married Nimrod Howington in Wake Co, North Carolina in most likely Oct 1820. There was a notice for the intent to marry Milbery and bond was posted on 9/12/1820. Nimrod and Milbery had 3 known children, John C, Thomas J. , and James C. Milbery is listed with her husband and six sons in the 1830 Wake Co, NC census. About 1840, Nimrod moved south to Alabama. Census records in Al indicate that Milbery may have passed away by this time. If you have any information on Milbery Bradley or any of her family, I would be interested to her from you. Thanks, Steve Smith Baton Rouge, La

    1. [BRADLEY-L] Re: BRADLEY-D Digest V99 #2
    2. I am looking for BRADLEYs in New Brunswick, Canada. Specifically, I am looking for information on Sarah Elgein BRADLEY b. 8/24/1878? in Hartland, NB? d. at the age of 99 in Mount Dora, Florida, who married Arnold William PORTER on 26 Oct ?. Her father is probably John BRADLEY who I believe was a farmer in NB, and her mother's name is probably Rachel. This family was possibly United Empire Loyalist and moved to Canada during or after the US War of Independence. Sarah was my great grandmother and she said one set of her grandparents came from Ireland. If you have any information about BRADLEYs in NB or Loyalist BRADLEYs, please let me know. Information on the PORTER side is also welcome.

His daughter Polly was the second wife of Harbart Harris. Second, John Lived near Sugar Hill. He had several sons One named Roe was murdered in South Carolina while off with a market wagon. He had only one daughter who married James Crawford, whom he much opposed as a son in law Mr. B. Had been sending his daughter off to school, and bough her several silk dresses, and when she ran away and married Mr. C. Mr. B just picked up the trunk dresses and all and burned them, and threatened to shoot Mr C on first sight But time generally changes matters so by and by he sent for the young couple and gave them the farm; and as is often the case, the plowboy, perhaps made a much better son in law than would the fasionable son of some aristocrat, for the sons and daughters of this couple have all done fairly well. And we have ample evidence of this fact in their three sons The Hons. J.C. Crawford, of Sugar Hill G.W. of Marion and Lee P. of Old Fort all having very success ful both in businesss and politics." page 416 if you find this to be the wright family I will send you the rest Marsha pmml@navicom.com

    3. I t has been brought to mt attention that there is some bad information floating around. For those who know me know I've search all corners trying to find John G. Bradley's parents with no luck. John G. Bradley is not the same as John James Bradley son of Gabriel. Married to Nancy Baty. Nancy is also Beaty not Baty. Marriage records do say Baty but not correct. I have been researching another Bradley family that is more likely to be my ancestors than this Bradley family. As soon as I find the connection I will post to let everyone know. Meanwhile, I need more info on the Bradley Cemetary in Grove Township, Johnson County, Mo. The family buried there I believe to be my relation. Also Swope cemetary. They are very close together and I have connections with both surnames. 3. Hi Everyone, I finally got the program up and running again, so here is the information I promised. This is all that was on the program, so you may have to do some further searching if this applies to anyone out there. Passengers: Miss Bridget Bradley- 3rd class, steerage, survived in lifeboat # 13 Crew: F. Bradley- Able bodied seaman, deck, went down with the ship P. Bradley- Fireman, Engines, went down with the ship There was also another Bradley, a George Bradley who was on the Titanic under another name. He was using an alias because he was wanted in Ireland for some gambling crimes. I can not remember what the assumed name was, but if anyone is interested, I can recheck that also. He did survive and later moved to California, the last anyone knew of him. Hope this helps someone out there and sorry it took so long to get the information back to you. Take care all, bye for now.
