Has anyone doing research in Arkansas come across a family that has a child named Rueben H. Bradley, aged about 5 years listed in the 1860 census? I am trying to locate the county in Arkansas where his parents settled, and Rueben was born about 1855. He was in St. Clair Co, MO by the 1880 census. So, I do not know if he came there with his family, or on his own as a young man. Thank you, Bertha

Hi, Does anyone on the list have CD#286 from Family treemaker?
Thank you for your help. I do not have any further info on John Bradley from New Brunswick, other than the descendent information I put in the original message. He may have been a passenger on the Elizabeth, leaving London in April, 1635, but this is uncertain. I have seen little in the way of references to documents that might provide proof of his relationship to the Bradley's of Yorkshire. I'm sure that any of those of us in the US would appreciate any information you might have. Wilson DeCamp Vienna, VA

I am seeking information on the following family which appeared on the 1860 Itawamba County, Mississippi census: David Bradley; age 43; born North Carolina - birth yr. abt. 1817 Nancy; age 34; born South Carolina - birth yr. abt. 1826 Mary; age 16; born Mississippi - birth yr. abt. 1844 Julia; age 13; born Mississippi - birth yr. abt. 1847 Martha; age 10; born Mississippi - birth yr. abt. 1850 William; age 8; born Mississippi - birth yr. abt. 1852 Sarah; age 6; born Mississippi - birth yr. abt. 1854 Fidelia; age 3; born Mississippi - birth yr. abt. 1857 Jefferson; age 10/12; born Mississippi - birth yr. abt. 1859 There was also a John A. W. Bradley living in the same area who stated that he was born in Virginia and his parents were born in Ireland. John's birth year was abt. 1809. I am trying to determine if William listed as age 8 above is the same person as William D. Bradley who married Emaline Sandlin in 1879 in Lee County, Mississippi. William and Emma spent a few years in Van Zandt and Wood Counties, Texas. William supposedly died in Van Zandt County around 1902. Emma returned to Lee County, Mississippi with some of her children. I am seeking information on Reuben H. Bradley, born about 1850 in Arkansas, and married Susanna Poindexter Guinn, in St. Clair Co., Missouri about 1870. Looking for information on his parents. He possibly had 2 brother: Edward and James. Does anyone have information on Arkansas and Missouri Bradleys? On the 1880 census, it stated that Reuben's father was born in KY. Thank you, Bertha
I was in an antique store this weekend and happened to look up. There was a wooden sign with the words: Aubrey J. Bradley, Jr. Robert A. Coldsnow Francis C. McMaster Attorneys At Law Just wondered if this is something some family would like to have back in their possession. It was about 20" wide by 15" high, the lettering was on both sides of the sign, and there is a $42.50 price tag on it. If so, contact me and I will tell you where I found it. Karen
I am trying to find any information I can on Harry Bradley and his wife Betsy Crowell. This couple had a daughter named Minerva Bradley, b. 1815 possibly in East Bloomfield, NY, d. 1883 in Portland, Ionia, MI, married Hiram F. Safford date unknown perhaps in Wayne County, MI. We believe that Harry Bradley and Betsy Crowell resided originally in Connecticut, or at least Betsy did. Or, at least, it is said in our oral history that Betsy Crowell was at least born in CT. Judging from the birth year of their daughter Minerva, Harry and Betsy might have been born in the 1780s or so. I know the above is sparse and iffier than iffy, but this is all we have. Any help appreciated. Lester Powers lesterps@juno.com ___________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail. Masdrey Bradley married Aaron Job 29 Jun 1812 Williamson Co, TN. Bondsman: Samuel Carson. Samuel Carson married Sally Bradley 16 Oct 1811 Williamson Co, TN. Bondsman Terry Bradley. Aaron and Masdrey moved to Marshall Co, AL and 1850 Census records reveal she was born in KY. At the time of her marriage (1812) in TN there were at least two men (maybe more) who are likely candidates for her family. A James Bradley and a Thomas Bradley. Was Masdrey's real name Margaret? Was she related to Sally and Terry Bradley? I would appreciate any help I might receive on her. Roy Jobe
