I am researching two Bradley lines in my ancestry. The first is in England and begins with Solomon Bradley who was born 28 Jan 1724 in Brenchley Parish, Kent. He married Elizabeth Fairman on 26 Dec 1757 at Ash Near Sandwich. Their children were Solomon b 25 Jan 1761, William b 17 Apr 1763, Mary b 10 Jun 1764, Margaret 30 Oct 1768, Thomas b 8 Apr 1770 and Sarah b 2 Apr 1775. My ancestor was Margaret. She married Thomas Buddle and the rest of that line is Buddle (my maiden name). My other Bradley ancestors are from the TN area of the United States. I have been unable to take my research back any further than Elizabeth Bradley who married Jesse Creech. Elizabeth was born in 1810 in TN or VA. I know her mother's name was Ruth but I do not know Elizabeth's father's name. Elizabeth's siblings were: George, James, Joseph and Rebecca Bradley. Any help would be well appreciated. Thanks. Names ??) and she was the only one to come to the US. No one kept contact after her death in 1963. She had a niece named Wynne who was contacted then because she evidently cared for her mother. I am interested in knowing more about John Howard Bradley of Buckingham County, Virginia. John Howard Bradley was born circa 1814 in or about Buckingham County. He married somewhere Sarah W. Agee and lived in Buckingham County. I do not know who his parents were are anything about him before his children. I found his wife's maiden name accidentally in the "Agee Register". Thought I would post this to the new Bradley list: Eli BRADLEY, b. 1782/1786; m. Irene TALLMAGE (b. c. 1792, West Springfield,MA), 1 Nov 1813 in West Springfield, MA. He died 20 Jan 1854 in Southwick, Hampden, MA. His death certificate indicates he was 68 years old, and was born in Southwick. Children: Maria, b. 3 Feb 1814, m. Rodney UPSON. Irene, b. c. 1819, d. 25 Aug 1842 (unmarried), and Wells Albert,b. 16 Mar 1822, m. Sarah Huldah PARKER. Eli's birth record is not available because the courthouse burned down in 1850. I suspect that Abraham BRADLEY of Hampshire/Hampden Co., MA may be his father. The index for probate records was missing for the BRADLEY names in Hampden Co. Does anyone connect to these people?
