I haven't received a post from this list in a long time, so this is a test as much as it is a request for help. Esther BRADLEY was the daughter of Jabez and Esther (Beach) BRADLEY. She was born 3 July 1762. She married Michael GILLET, 13 Jun 1782 in New Hartford, CT. The Gillets moved to Marcellus, Onodaga Co., NY, in 1804 or 1805, probably because Esther's brother Daniel Bradley was residing there (and was one of the founders of Marcellus). I believe Esther died in about 1807, but have no confirmation of the date or that she died in Marcellus. I'd appreciate any information on these Bradleys, especially where/when Esther died. I apolgize in advance for the cross-postion to three rootsweb mailing lists. This post seems appropriate for each of the WEXFORD, ONTARIO, and BRADLEY lists. I am looking for information regarding my ancestor Jacob Bradley, and his older brother Joshua, born in Wexford County, Ireland circa 1806. The two brothers emigrated to Canada around 1819, and settled on adjoining farms in 1824 on what is now Hazeldean Rd, in Goulbourn, Carleton County, Ontario, Canada. I believe the ship they came over on was named "The Brunswick", but I have no information about their parents (other than a strong suspicion that their father's name was William), or of the descendants of Joshua Bradley, nor any information about their lives before their arrival to Canada. I have extensive information on the descendants of Jacob Bradley if anyone desires it. I was wondering if anyone could provide me with any of the following information: 1) Information about Bradley's living in Wexford County in the late 1700's early 1800's. 2) Information about Bradley's living in Carleton County after 1819. Thanks in advance for any information you may be able to provide. -- Trevor Bradley tbradley@arbutus.ml.org www.arbutus.ml.org
I have literally hundreds, if not over a thousand, BRADLEY occasions, names and family trees from Cheshire. If you think that you might have connections there the main tree goes back to 1530 and you might link in to any one of the many large and small trees. Please e-Mail me if your family of BRADLEY's are from the NW of England Peter

I signed on recently to pursue some early Bradley ancestry... earliest know is Francis b. c.1636 who m. Ruth Barlow, son being John Bradley b. c.1665 who m. Hannah Sherwood, dau. being Ruth b. 1690 likely in Fairfield, CT, who m. c.1711 Daniel Sherwood, both buried in Ridgefield, CT. Anyone researching this early New England branch? I'd like to fill in my sketchy information. Many thanks. Bill Longman member Ozarks Genealogical Society
KY Researchers -- Those of you who have been researching Bradleys in KY for a long time, can you tell me where "pockets" of them settled during the 1800-1830 period??? I have just begun looking for Bradleys --- more specifically I am looking for a Micajah/McCager Bradley often called Kager or Kagen Bradley --- but I haven't a clue about this family. Ernie Perry
Hello, I needed to contact Bradley descendants re: found tombstone and had to subscribe. Now I realize that I have Bradley ancestors so I should post a message in hopes of finding further info. Does anyone have any information on William BRADLEY who died 1799-1805 in Elbert Co., GA who was married to Elizabeth CHRISTIAN (no dates)? They had Elizabeth, Lucy and Drury, plus ??. This William was my 6th grgrandfather. His daughter Elizabeth married Leroy UPSHAW. -- Nancy in Williams, AZ Genealogy= Where you confuse the dead and irritate the living! I'm not a subscriber to this list but need to locate a relative of Larry D. Bradley, Born April 15, 1951 Died October 24, 1987. His tombstone was found in an abandoned vehicle in the city of Williams, AZ. The Police dept would like to have it returned to a relative so that it can be returned to where this individual is buried. They have no idea why it was in this vehicle. It is a granite stone in a variable brown tone. There is no way of knowing where it came from but it was not from this area. -- Nancy in Williams, AZ Genealogy= Where you confuse the dead and irritate the living! My gggrandmother Hannah D. Bradley born 1811 in Canada according to census. Family notes say town was Hollowell but ??. She married in Pierpoint, St. Lawrence NY, 28 Oct 1830 to Elisha Rose son of Ben Rose of St Lawrence Cty. They had children: Alexander 1833, Eunice 1834, Zada 1837 and Ben 1841. I would guess her family was in Pierpoint as they were married there (I have no official paperwork on this). There was an Alexander Bradley of Hewittville who died in 1887 who was native of Potsdam. He was 78 born 1809. Does anyone have information on his family. Maybe there is connection as Alexander had not been Rose family name before. Miriam donhughes@msn.com

The following are the tombstones I found. - MALLETT Cemetery, Stratford, NY This is an old cemetery. Abandoned, by the looks of it. Most of the stones are gone. I imagine they fell & time has let the earth bury them. As one travels east on Route 29A & leaves Stratford, Mallett Hill Road will be on the right. Turn left at the end of Mallett Hill road & in a short distance (not even 1/4 of a mile) one will find the Mallett Cemetery on the left. Partial listing Cora B. PITCHER 1905 - 1992 POLLYS (I couldn't read the rest the rest of the tombstone) Harriet A. As I am now soon you must be (blank) (blank) my friends prepare to follow me - ROUND TOP Cemetery, Stratford, NY: I'm not sure if this cemetery is no longer used, but it is taken care of. When I was there, I did see flower arrangements at some of the stones. Since most of the stones are still in place, this listing won't be in alphabetical order. Rather, the order will be a general west to east tour of the cemetery. This cemetery is located on the left hand (northern) side of the road just outside of Stratford, as one travels east on route 29A & heads for Pine Lake.
