BRADFORD Born May 27, 1922 to Abraham and Lavonna Hughes in Chickasaw County, MS. She was preceded in death by her parents, Abraham & Lavonna Hughes, her sister, Mattie L. Ross, and her husband, John Bradford, Jr. She departed this life on January 6, 2005 at Methodist Hospital Northlake Campus. She professed at hope in Christ at an early age and joined Pheasent Grove M.B. Church in Buena Vista, MS, she later moved her membership to New Hope M.B. Church in Gary, IN where she remained faithful until her health failed her. She leaves to cherish her memories: nephew, William (Davella) Mugoodwin of Gary, IN; and host of other relatives and friends. Visitation Tuesday, January 11, 2005 from 12-8 p.m. with family hour at 6 p.m. at the Serenity Gardens Funeral Home, 934 E. 21st Avenue, Gary, IN 46407. (219) 886-8300.
