    3. Hi list! I know I haven't done much to the website this past year, but I've FINALLY updated information! For those who have been to the site in the past couple weeks, you've probably noticed a few changes. First off, let me soothe any fears of the site going commercial. I know that when folks start seeing ads on sites that weren't there before that there might be more of a commercialization of the site going on. That is NOT the case here. I have added links by google as a way to help me pay for the site. I am paying around $100 a year, give or take a little, for webhosting and domain registration costs. The ads through google help to pay for the site everytime someone clicks on an ad or performs a search using the google search box. The search box SHOULD but it's not working correctly yet so realize that if you do a search, it will search the entire web. I'm trying to fix it so it searches both the site AND the web. Keep your fingers crossed it works, otherwise I'! ll have to go back to freefind search box which searches the site only (and doesn't help me with costs for the website). So far, the ads and search box have gotten me 97 cents :) hehe. Long way to go for the site to start paying for itself, but every little bit helps! Second, I finally found it! The Will of David Bradford of Mecklenburg County, father of James, Samuel, Michael, and David Jr. and husband of Mary (possibly Lancaster, although that is in question). Ok, it's not the actual will, just the abstract right now, but I'm going back to the archives next week and will hopefully come back with a copy of the REAL will and not just the abstract. I've posted the abstract at the webpage, so take a look. Third, I haven't touched the Bradford marriage records page in over a year....until now! Last night I updated the format of the page into a table (it looked messy the way it was) and at the same time updated the marriages with marriages from NC I've found but haven't added. Last, I have uploaded a series of articles that I wrote for www.genealogyforum.org, where I host chats on Southern US genealogy. the articles are about conservation of documents and photographs for future generations. Please do take a look at that. Good luck everyone and please do submit any information you wish to include on the website, including articles. The website address, if you don't have it bookmarked, is in my signature below. Erin Bradford List manager http://www.gendepository.com - The Genealogy Depository
