Hi all. I just wanted to let everyone know that I recently received an email from a fellow genealogy researcher that had a virus attached to it (but I didn't open it). The attachment I received was called Resume1.wps.scr and when I scanned the attachment with Norton, if found the bugbear virus attached. I just wanted to send out a general warning/reminder about attachments in email, even if you know the person who sent it. In this day and age, it's very important to remember to scan an attachment before opening. Yahoo.com does a great job in taking out the guess work of how to scan without opening since there is an option to scan with norton or download without scanning. Good luck all in your research.
