    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: BRADFORD Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/3YF.2ACIB/1961.1.1 Message Board Post: I don't have Joseph P. Bradford/Rachel Shilling in my records as descendants of Richard of Charles City Co., VA. Do have FOSTER (1803-1879) as the son of Isham & Elizabeth McIntosh Bradford. According to Peter Sandlund, HENRY the son of THOMAS & ELIZABETH SMITH BRADFORD married his stepmother MARY MOORE (second wife of Thomas) and had two children by her, HENRY 1763-1822 & ISHAM 1765-1835. note: Thomas & Mary Moore Bradford also had a son Richard 1745-1826, and Thomas had seven children by his first wife Elizabeth. To confuse things more HENRY's nephew RICHARD POWELL BRADFORD 1766-1830 also immigrated to LA as well as two of his sisters. (This line would be: Richard Powell>Nathaniel>Thomas>Richard>Richard of Charles City.) I do not have complete info on the Louisana branches of this family and feel that things are probably confused because of Henry marrying his stepmother. Do think all are most likely connected. Regards, Becky
