Thanks Adam. None of my research shows any connection to the Governor. But anytime there is some mention of Samuel I try to track it down. PROVING that we are not related to Governor William Bradford will cut way down on fruitless work! ON a related note, we're not quite ready to come out with the information yet, but evidence from DNA testing indicates to a near certainty that Samuel is not desended from Gov. William. In the Bradford Y-DNA project we have one confirmed descenant of Gov. WIlliam and one confirmed descendant of Samuel (that would be me). We don't share a common ancestor, at least not in the last 10,000 years. The only thing remaining to make the evidence absolutely conclusive is to find other proven descendants of Samuel and Gov.
