    3. Thanks Adam. None of my research shows any connection to the Governor. But anytime there is some mention of Samuel I try to track it down. PROVING that we are not related to Governor William Bradford will cut way down on fruitless work! I have been unable to locate any living males from my Joseph Bradford line... but then we go back to Adam anyway, so their DNA should be a perfect match to you. ----- Original Message ----- From: adam bradford To: BRADFORD-L@rootsweb.com Sent: Sunday, October 16, 2005 5:04 PM Subject: Re: [BRADFORD-L] Re: Bradford "brick wall" is crumbling Leona, I have this book. Uunsurprisingly, it does not mention Samuel. I must here stress that there's really no good reason, and never has been, to suppose that Samuel is descended from Gov. William. ON a related note, we're not quite ready to come out with the information yet, but evidence from DNA testing indicates to a near certainty that Samuel is not desended from Gov. William. In the Bradford Y-DNA project we have one confirmed descenant of Gov. WIlliam and one confirmed descendant of Samuel (that would be me). We don't share a common ancestor, at least not in the last 10,000 years. The only thing remaining to make the evidence absolutely conclusive is to find other proven descendants of Samuel and Gov. William through different lines. - Adam On 10/14/05, Leona <lmastan@jps.net> wrote: > Congratulations David!! It is actually a large PDF document, not a printed work, but yesterday I finally got lucky and my "Bradford brick wall" is now in shambles. > > > ==== BRADFORD Mailing List ==== > Looking for a genealogy chat?
