When completed, this will make the board easier to use for everyone, and much easier to find information, both in a conventional scanning of the board or a search utilizing one of the search engines. I am only able to edit the following: 1. Subject - This should be a few words, names, dates, etc. that would serve as a brief summary of the board post, and attract someone to it. "Looking for family," "Need help!," or something else of this nature are of little or no use and will be deleted. 2. Surnames - Just what the word implies, this area is for the surnames (and surnames ONLY) in this post, and they must be stated thus (without the quotes), "Bradford, Smith, Jones". They must be stated that way, and ONLY surnames should be entered in the surname field, because the search engines are searching for them and you will attract more people to your post by doing it this way. 3. Classification - Default here is "Query," and this is the classification for most initial posts if you are seeking information. There are a number of others, though, and most responses to a query will fall into one of those categories. Please be aware of the above when posting to the board. It will save me an awful lot of time and effort if your initial post follows the formatting above, and you will also find that you will receive more visits and responses to your post if you do.
