Carol, I'm descended from a Bradford line, and family information says we are descended from Gov. William Bradford, but I have never found the connection yet. Of course, ANYONE with Bradfords in their ancestry feels he is descended from Gov. Bradford, so. . . . who knows? The earliest Bradford I have in my data is: John Bradford B. 25 Jul 1798 in Tennessee M. Sarah Blades (1800- ) on 20 Jan 1817 in Franklin Co., Indiana That is as far back as I can take the line, so if you or anyone else on this list have any suggestions I welcome hearing from you. I do not have any parents for him, so this is as far as I can go. Whether it leads to Gov. Bradford or proves I am not descended from him, either way I would sure like to take this line further back than this. Is the "Five Generation" book available anywhere for purchase? Can you recommend any good research sites or publications to trace the Bradford line? I welcome any help you can offer. David E.
