To all Bradford listers: The Bradford Y-DNA project is seeking descendants of Samuel Bradford of Worcester Co., MD for testing in order to find Samuel's DNA signature, and to provide a good basis for comparing his signature with the DNA of other lineages in an attempt to try to discover who Samuel's parents might have been. We already have two participants in the project (my father and I) descended from Samuel, through his son Adam Bradford, then Isaac Neely Bradford. We are particularly interested in individuals descended from other sons of Adam Bradford and also in individuals descended from Samuel's son James. Funding is available for a certain number of participants to defray the expense of the test. Note: since we test the Y chromosome, which is only passed from male to male, participants must be descended from Samuel Bradford in an unbroken male line.
