Below is the 1870 Census of Smith County, Texas, at that time the BRADFORD'S where raise by relatives the WEEKS'S. The reason I'm trying to locate them to find out more info on my relatives. 1870 Smith Co TX census, pg 208, family #93 is William Weeks (son of Wesley) age 24, Mary age 19, Robert age 2. Family #94 is Elizabeth Weeks (daughter of Wesley) age 30, Ferney 21, John 19, Henry 14, Sarah 12, and Martha 10; also various Bradford children aged 9 months to 14 yrs old. Wesley (father) had died in May of typhoid fever. Lucy Ann (Mother) had died in 1862. 1870 Mortality Schedule, Smith Co TX - Canton Beat #94 Weaks, Westley, age 50, male, white, born TN, month of death 5/1, occupation, farmer, cause of death typhoid fever. Children of Wesley Weeks and Lucy Williams are: 2 i. Elizabeth3 Weeks, born 14 September 1839. Notes for Elizabeth Weeks: 1870 census Smith Co TX, Canton Beat, Troupe Post Office, family #93 is William Weeks age 24, Mary age 19, Robert age 2. (This is William, son of Wesley and Lucy Weeks) Family #94 is Elizabeth Weeks (sister of William next door) age 30, Ferney age 21, John age 19, Henry age 14, Sarah age 12, and Martha age 10.
