Does anyone know the parents of Betsey Bradford who married Nelson Wells in Chemung Co., NY, on 11 July 1833. She was born 20 June 1812 in Blenheim, Schoharie Co., NY. I believe she died in Will County, IL late in the century after being widowed in 1860. There were three Bradfords in Blenheim Twp. in 1810: John S., Silas, and Simon; in 1820 census John S. was gone; Silas and Simeon were left. Simeon had two daughters under age 10. Schoharie County Historical Society could not find a baptism for Betsey. In the 1880 census Betsey identifies her father as being from CT and her mother born VT. She was 67, widow, living with a married daughter Juliette Sharpe in New Lenox, Will Co., IL. Can anyone help with this family? Margie Bridges
