William Allen Bradford was born December 6, 1851 in Tennessee. He was the son of John A. Bradford and Elizabeth Bradford. He married Mary Catherine Votaw, she was born January 28, 1852 in Missouri. She was the daughter of John H. Votaw and Elizabeth Martin Votaw. They were farmers and had five children: Caldonia J. born January 2, 1877 - died Sept. 13, 1879 Martha Elizabeth (Matt), born Sept. 22, 1879, married Wyatt Franklin Garner , (son of Samuel and Mary Elizabeth Garner) in February 1902. They had six children; Theodore; Orville; Marvine; Everett, Inez, and Bradford. Matt died July 9, 1964 Luzetta Susan (my grandmother) born Feb 13, 1882, married Charley Garner son of Pleasant Andrew Garner. Nora, born November 12, 1884 Della A. born September 5, 1887 William Bradford died March 22, 1888. After William died Mary Catherine married William Franklin Catlett. Mary Catherine died May 10, 1940
