Surnames: BRADFORD Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/3YF.2ACIB/1968.1.1 Message Board Post: hi, i'm not exactly sure...this is what in know....my great grandfather was john charles bradford born 1866 somewhere in kentucky.....he and his siblings were orphaned by 1874, john was seperated from his siblings and placed on a farm, he ran away at age 13, he went into the mountains and became a trapper until he ended up in canada, he married....but we don't know what happened to his wife, i suppose she died...we don't know if he had children with her or not....nothing was ever said.....he then ended up in minnesota and married my great grandmother who was already with three children, they then had 8 more children together......all but three of the children died of kidney disease, in their early twenties.....as i said we don't know much about his parents or his siblings.....i am just guessing that his parents died from the cholera epidemic in 1874.....but i can't seem to find anything that says this a fact.....and my great aunt says that these bradfords are welch/english..! ...does any of this sound familier.....any help would be greatly appriciated.....i have been searching for this family for a long time.....i'll be waiting for your reply....sincerly, christine balero, lubbock, texas
