Just wanted to let you know that you probably want to look in one of 2 places in NC for your Samuel's family. There were 2 main Bradford families in NC during the time frame you gave. The first, and mostly likely is the Bradfords in Granville Co. area (Granville, Wake, Orange, Edgecombe, Franklin, etc.). This line, or at least all the ones I've come across were decended from Richard Bradford and Rebecca Pace of VA. The other line that maybe a possibility is the Bradfords in Mecklenburg/Cabarrus Co. (my line). My David Bradford had a son named Samuel, would have been born late 1700's, who supposedly died 1784 (info given to me by fellow research that I can't verify yet, but probably not far off as they haven't been off the mark yet). Like I said, it's more likely that you are from the Granville Co. area Bradfords so I would focus your search for his family/ancestors there, especially if he was from NC and his wife from VA since Granville co. was on the VA/NC border! . Good luck! I've actually heard of this Samuel mentioned on my Bradford list, so if you haven't already joined the list, might be a good idea because there are quite a few of the descendants from the Granville Co. area Bradfords on the list and they can help you more than I could.
