Surnames: Pruett / Bradford/Mosley/Brand/Hammond/Hunt/Douglas/Flecther Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/3YF.2ACIB/1500.1.1.1.1.1.1.1 Message Board Post: Lana, I also believe that if we keep pluggin we'll figurre out which Bradford family each came from.Two Pruett Brothers married two Bradford sisters.At least I believe they were sisters.But the 1830 census has David Pruett (father of William & J.M.) with 4 boys and four houses down is Charles Bradford with five girls.William and Mary got married in 1836 and Margaret married James Marshall Pruett in 1849.Also J.M. and Margaret moved to Alabama early in their marriage.Also Elisha Pruett also moved to Al.he was a CSW soilder,The Indian war in Fla.So I believe this is where the Bradford/Pruett kinship came.
