He left MD for VA before his father's death in 1810/11. His mother was Sarah Fitzgerald. He married Nancy Cole in VA and moved to TN. Nancy died after 4 children and he married Frances Neely in 1805. They moved to KY and around 1830 moved to MO. Frances' father was Isaac Neely married to Nancy Ann Coppedge in KY. I have not researched the Neely and Coppedge families yet. Hope this helps.
