A few months ago I visited the Georgia State Archives which at that time was doing some house cleaning getting ready to be moved and combined with the National Archives here in Georgia. They had several shelves of books, I suppose were duplicate copies that they were selling. I purchased several books for my personal genealogy library, one of which was "Bradford Roots and Branches" compiled by Nancy Vashti Anthony Jacob in 1975. Although not my Bradford line, this book covers the family of Samuel Bradford who came from Ireland to South Carolina in 1768. These Bradfords are from the Kershaw County South Carolina area and later on Pickens County Alabama and then on to Louisiana. I will be more than happy to do look ups and provide info from this book if anyone is researching this Bradford family. Please be sure that you mention the Bradford book by name as I will also be offering look ups from some other books in my personal library to various lists. My Bradford line is that of Brazil (abt. 1820-1889) and Tabitha Bradford of Walton, Newton and Rockdale Counties in Georgia. Would like to hear from anyone researhing this line also.
