My Bradfords lived in Plymouth until MY Ephraim moved to the next town over, Duxbury, in about 1819. His son, Captain John Bradford (he was captain of at least 6 sailing vessels that went around the globe in the mid-19th century) was also born in Duxbury. My great grandmother, Ellen Bradford Stebbins was born in the Duxbury area and moved to Boston as a girl. The rest of the generations up to my time were born in either Boston or in nearby New Hampshire. My children were the first in our line not to be born in New England (or, within an hour of Plymouth/Boston). My Mayflower families include Alden, Warren, and Soule.
