    3. I am looking for David B. BRADFORD who married the widow Elizabeth CROCKER on 29 Jan 1850 in Eaton Co., MI. He was born 15 Dec 1800 in Middlesex Co. CT and died 5 Jul 1880 in Eaton Rapids, Eaton Co., MI. His 1st wife was Lydia HALL b: cal 21 Jun 1806 and died 12 Nov 1844 Eaton Rapids, MI. His 3rd wife was Mrs. Missouri AUSTIN b: ca 1811 d: 10 Sept 1884 Eaton Rapids, MI. Elizabeth's first husband (?) was Elijah PARMETER / PALMETER. She married Martin CROCKER (b: ca 1811) about 1843, had one son by him, Oramel M. CROCKER b: 1846. Martin died about 1847. Elizabeth apparently held the original deed to land purchased by Elijah PARMETER in 1841 in Jackson Co. Martin CROCKER paid the taxes on this land from 1844-47, then in 1848 it is paid by the "widow CROCKER." In 1849 the taxes are paid by her step-son Elijah PARMETER Jr. In 1850 they are paid by Elizabeth CROCKER. She remarries on 29 Jan 1850 in Eaton Co. to David B. BRADFORD, he pays the taxes from 1851-56 when the land is sold. Elizabeth (maiden name unknown) PARMETER CROCKER BRADFORD died 10 Mar 1864 near Eaton Rapids, Eaton Co., MI. Elijah PARMETER's 1st wife is identified on his son's death certificate as Martha BRITTON. It is unclear if she died in NY or after he came to MI. He is not found on the 1840 census. I believe he purchased the land before he married Elizabeth. Would appreciate hearing from anyone who might have information on David B. BRADFORD and his wife Elizabeth.
