I guess I need to make this clear. I will NOT automatically take whatever is posted to the list without permission. If you post something to the list that I think the webpage would benefit from, I WILL contact you privately and ask for permission. Basically, what I was trying to get across in the original email is that if you want me to go ahead and put your census info that you submitted on the webpage, you should email to let me know the missing information, but also, this is just good practice to use generally speaking, not just for the list, but for anything, also cite your full sources. As for the census, include ALL information from the census in the, including the state, county, town, and page. Many posts lately have left me to wonder what state or what county the information is coming from. A question has been very valid question has been raised about whether this is against Rootsweb policy. I will check into this, but honestly I doubt it. The 3 main reasons I think this: 1. I'm getting permission from the sender 2. This is public domain information 3. The information is staying on Rootsweb, as my webpage is on rootsweb. Like I said, I will contact them to find out, and if it is against policy, I will take that information off (only about 5 files). I hope this answers any questions my last post left and I'm sorry for the confusing.
