Surnames: BRADFORD, KIRKLAND Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/3YF.2ACIB/1772 Message Board Post: I am in need of any Bradford marriages from this locale and time period but am especially interested in the marriage of Charles (Darnell, Sr., or Jr. or just Charles) Bradford. He is know to have md Sarah Kirkland about 1799-1800 give or take, but I think he had a second wife about 1822 based on skips in births of children and the children listed in Sarah's father's will as her heirs (1822). Since Charles had children after that date, he has to have married again. He is also listed as seeking custody of 3 minor children -Francis <14, William age 7, and Abigail >14 in 1822 Equity Ct, case #2. This would indicate the older boys ....Joshua, Spencer, Charles...are out on their own as they were not mentioned. Thanks in advance for any help rendered. I don't even know if such marriages have been preserved due to fires, wars, etc. but am in hopes.
